Have you ever celebrated Thanksgiving in October? Well then you missed out on a wonderful experience we shared alongside our wonderful professors and students of the major. First, we were welcomed to this event by words of Paulo Morales, who shared with us how this holiday is celebrated and then gave way to the student Paula Ruiz who also shared a few words about this wonderful occasion. Then, many teachers were given the opportunity to say a few words about gratitude, history and other topics which they decided to share. Towards the end, students had the chance to play a wonderful game of "turkey hunt" and also write down on the "Wall of Gratitude" the things that they are all grateful for. This joy-filled ceremony was closed by everyone sharing a few chips and soft drinks. This beautifully organized event was a great time to share some laughs, smiles, and a few snacks altogether which is what the purpose of thanksgiving is all about.
