Seasons in Seventeen: A Haiku Journey

Last Thursday, we joyfully held the second edition of the Poetry Recital, led by the talented second-semester students from the Pedagogy of National and Foreign Languages program.

Inspired by Japanese aesthetics and the ever-changing beauty of the four seasons, the event transported the audience on a lyrical journey filled with sensitivity and harmony. Our students shone as they shared original haikus and recited a touching poem by a Japanese author, creating a magical and contemplative atmosphere true to the spirit of traditional Japan.

Each performance subtly marked the passage of time and the emotions that bloom with every season, creating a poetic flow that captivated everyone present.

Due to the event’s enthusiastic reception, the recital will be held again this Wednesday, May 7, at 9:00 AM in the Claudio Malo Hall.

We warmly invite the entire university community to be moved by the delicacy of words, haiku art, and the East's poetic spirit.

Don’t miss it!
